BLUE FLOWERS FARM
WELCOME
Blue Flowers Farm began growing a multitude of varieties of seasonal cut flowers at the home property in Shirley in 2016.
My goal is to offer fresh seasonal flowers for as many months of the year as possible, so I am always seeking out new varieties to add to my growing collection as well as pouring through resources to learn new techniques to improve my selection, production, quality and design.
I also feel it is important to share growing information and help others maximize their food growing potential, so this year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I would like to share my experience related to food gardening through a blog in the hopes that new-found and experienced gardeners alike will be able to put their efforts to good use and supplement their food needs all while sharing information with one another and building on our growing confidence. We all have something to share and to learn in the garden.
BOUQUETS
LOCALLY GROWN & SEASONAL
I grow, harvest and arrange all of the flowers used in Blue Flowers Bouquets.
Why Blue Flowers? Blue Flowers have long symbolized desire, love, and the metaphysical striving for the infinite and the unreachable, which pretty much sums up my relationship with my flowers.
I also have a proclivity for blue flowers, and I am continually seeking out new “blue” varieties, so although not all bouquets will contain blue flowers, blue flowers certainly are a central theme in my flower selection and production. Blue Flowers take away the ‘blues.’
RANDOM STAND
